Stockpit 1.6 now allows you to send messages to your team via our own notification system. You can now inform your team directly from Stockpit. We can also use this system to let you know about the new software updates and features as soon as they are released.
With two-factor authentication (2FA), reinforce your account safety. You can now enable the option in the settings in order to generate your safety codes and add an extra step to the login process. You will then need to add a one-use code after your password to access your account. More information on that topic here.
Now, Stockpit 1.6 lets you switch from one company to another straight from the menu, with the same email address. If you’re working with a number of companies who have a user access for you, you can switch freely between them from the Stockpit user menu.
In order to give you more flexibility with how you set up and use Stockpit on a daily basis, we have put in place a permissions system that you can customize however you want. That way, the company admin can pick and choose what features each user has access to what as well was what he can do with it, with the options being :
This allows you to set up the user experience for each user differently, based on their tasks and needs.
If you’re not using a stock location anymore, you now have the possibility to delete it. You will then have to pick a stock location that will receive the quantities from the stock location you are about to delete, which will be handy if you need to centralize your stock around a specific stock location.
For each of your products, you can now see the purchases including that product as well as the reorder point straight from the product page. All of the relevant information regarding a product is now directly available from its product page, allowing you to have a more detailed overview.
You can now set up an alert in Stockpit to let you know that a batch number is about to expire, giving you greater visibility over your time-sensitive products and helping you avoidhaving unusable batches. Like the rest of the alerts in Stockpit, you can decide who is notified, when and how often.
Stockpit lets you manage your traceability now. With Stockpit 1.4, you can enable batch numbers and tracking for every product. No need for a spreadsheet that you need to update manually every time anymore, you can create your batches directly in Stockpit, assign an expiration date and track them from there. That way, you get more control over your time-sensitive products and can remove from your inventory the products with the closest expiration date. It’s worth noting however that once batch-tracking is activated for a product, there is no going back.
